Hsin Hsin Ming

When no discriminating thoughts arise, the old mind ceases to exist.
When thought objects vanish, the thinking-subject vanishes,
as when the mind vanishes, objects vanish.
Things are objects because of the subject (mind); the mind
( subject) is such because of things (object).

Hi Roshi,
Another comment I like from Hsin Hsin Ming is the following:
"When you try to stop activity to achieve passivity your very effort fills you with activity"

Cheers

I think, when you see that...the whole thing. Stopping happens.

When you see (or aware of) the futile activity of trying achive passivity through the effort of stopping.

Stopping arises from nowhere.

Awareness.

Lovely comment, by the way.

There is a Very Big depht in it, if it's been looked closely.

Cheers Roshi
